Commercial transport service UAB launches a project part-financed by the European Regional Development Fund - "Certification of the products of Commercial transport service UAB in order to promote exports". The company produces ambulances and has patented one design for an ambulance model. The company faces the problem of high certification costs. Due to the high cost of certification, it is not possible to certify its ambulances at its own expense in accordance with European Standard EN 1789: 2007 'Medical vehicles and their equipment. Ambulances". The company receives enquiries from abroad, but the majority of potential buyers want the ambulance to be certified according to the requirements of the European Standard EN 1789:2007. The project aims at product certification and exoprinting. The certification of one model of ambulance will allow it to be marketed in all 28 countries of the European Union, as well as in third countries which recognise EU standards through international agreements.
In order to increase the export of its products, UAB "Commercial transport service" will certify a VW Crafter-based ambulance during the project.
The project "Certification of the products of Commercial transport service UAB to promote exports" is carried out by the private limited liability company Commercial transport service. The project is carried out without partners.
The budget of the project is EUR 51 322,31 and the amount of financing received is EUR 25 661,15.
The project implementation period is from June 2018 to January 2020.
The project is implemented within the framework of the Operational Programme for Investment of European Union Funds 2014-2020, Priority 3 "Promoting the Competitiveness of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises" No. S-03.2.1-LVPA-K-802-02-0046 of the measure "New opportunities LT".
